NFA’s Regional Development Training (RDT) is intense instruction within a limited enrollment, small group format. RDT’s will build upon NFA’s proven development model, aiming to help athletes elevate their game to the next level. Our Albuquerque training will consist of a group training session Saturday Morning from 9 am until Noon, followed by personalized, private one-on-one instruction (either Saturday Afternoon or Sunday morning), followed by an additional group session Sunday afteroon from 1pm - 4 pm.

In group session one, NFA Senior certified coaches Casey Donovan and Mansur Ivie will take the Quarterbacks through a series of QB discipline-based drills to evaluate their current skillset and execution. The athletes will then receive a private one-on-one session. The plan for this session will be developed on an individual basis, via our coaches observations of the respective QB during the first group training session. Our coaches will target maximal area’s of growth and development, utilizing specific drills to accelerate understanding & execution. On Sunday afternoon, the Quarterbacks will be placed in high-intensity game-like scenarios where the improvements made during the private instruction session will be put to the ultimate test. These drills will be comprised of numerous variables stressing the QB’s ability to Self Correct, not Self Destruct under pressure. This sequential development process maximizes the opportunity for sustained improvement and a competitive advantage for the upcoming season.

These sessions are targeted for High School or advanced youth QB's. QB’s are placed into age and skill level appropriate groups working with our Senior Certified Coaches providing informed instruction after every repetition to enhance the learning and development process.  In addition our Coaches will provide feedback on where the QB currently stands, and what are the next steps needed to improve.
